Aileen is a driven and resourceful communications consultant with a core focus on supporting private and listed global companies with media engagement and transaction communications.
Aileen has a diverse skill set, providing strategic advice and supporting the day-to-day account management for a range of Cannings’ clients operating in the finance, technology, consumer discretionary, biotech and renewables industries. Her strong creative skills and expertise in digital media allow her to develop thought-provoking and compelling content to help clients maximise media coverage. Aileen’s natural curiosity enables her to leverage trends and uncover new opportunities to raise the profile of companies she advises.
Before joining Cannings, Aileen gained experience working at a leading independent creative communications agency, where she supported the creation of public relations and media campaigns for a range of well-known food, wine, and hospitality brands. She also worked for a not-for-profit organisation as part of the marketing team, developing communications campaigns, creating content and branding material and managing the charity’s social media.
Aileen graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Marketing, Finance, Economics and Political Economy.
