Belinda is an experienced journalist and media advisor who’s spent two decades working in Australia and overseas.
An extremely versatile reporter, Belinda spent most of her career at Australia’s national newswire Australian Associated Press (AAP) where she held several senior roles including Finance Editor, London Bureau Chief, News Extra editor and National Medical Correspondent. She also spent two years working in the federal parliament press gallery covering communications and media-related issues as well as higher education and economics for AAP. During her career she has also worked as a business reporter for the London-based Press Association.
More recently Belinda branched out into a media advisory role with NSW Health with a focus on responding to media enquiries, writing press releases and working on public health campaigns. Following that she moved into a senior content producing role at ABC Radio Sydney where she generated a range of story ideas and wrote scripts for a variety of programs including Nightlife, Breakfast, Focus, Afternoons and Drive.
Belinda has a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from the University of Western Sydney.
