COMMUNICATIONS, CULTURE & CHANGE ADVISOR
Fiona Forbes specialises in designing and implementing communication, change and marketing strategies to assist organisations undergoing major reform, transformation, and cultural change. She is passionate about the ‘people issues’ related to change ensuring the design and implementation process enables business continuity and engagement through complex transitions.
In her role as Managing Partner at Ogilvy Public Relations, Fiona led the Employee Experience and Corporate Practice and delivered specialised strategies for key clients including Ausgrid, the Department of Human Services, ARTC/Inland Rail, Transport for NSW – Future Transport 2056, Digital Transformation Agency, Dept of Education, CSIRO and the University of Newcastle, which enabled transformational change, privatisation, community and stakeholder engagement and addressed cultural challenges.
Over the past 25 years, Fiona has gained experience in a number of executive, senior management, change and leadership roles in a diverse range of challenging and complex work environments with national and global responsibility.
She has worked in a variety of industry sectors in public, private, corporate and not-for-profit organisations including TAFE NSW, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse (Cancer Hospital), IAG, Investa, Origin Energy, BUPA, NEHTA, Tourism Australia, NSW Health and the National Health (UK).
