Simone is an experienced media and content professional and journalist, providing strategic communications advice to companies on profile building and public affairs.

A former journalist at Australia’s national newswire, Australian Associated Press (AAP), Simone understands what reporters are looking for and how to communicate a client’s perspective to deliver the best results for all stakeholders.

Simone also has experience working for international humanitarian organisations such as UNICEF Australia and Australia for UNHCR, where she managed day-to-day communications across a wide variety of areas – from domestic and international programs to fundraising and marketing, philanthropy, new business and advocacy work.

More recently, Simone branched out into the podcasting world, hosting and producing the daily news podcast, The Squiz, whilst also contributing to the daily newsletter.

She has a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) from Charles Sturt University and a Master of Development Studies from the University of Sydney.
